a. Model LMaschio
Model L rotary tillers are consumer product machines built
for longevity and value. They are designed to mount on Category
1 three point hitch tractors up to 25 horsepower, and are
available in working widths of 40" or 50".
We fit all of our Maschio tillers with a friction disc safety clutch as standard equipment. Tillage depth is approximately 7" and there are 4 blades per flange on the rotor. Rotor speed is 208 rpm. The side drive roller chain is #80 equivalent and is encased in an oil bath. Adjustable depth control skids and a parking stand complete the package, providing all the features of a larger machine in a compact and affordable package.

W model is a three point hitch rotary tiller with full offset
capabilities. This means it can be positioned to the
right of the tractor centerline for cultivating outside
the right hand tire. This is useful if the tractor
tires are set wider than the tiller.
The Maschio W is available in working widths of 50", 57" or 65". It is suitable for tractors up to 35 horsepower and can be used for light commercial applications such as landscaping, garden tilling, and seed-bed preparation on smaller farms. We fit all of our Maschio rotary tillers with friction disc safety clutches to prevent damage to the tiller and the tractor when the blades hit an obstruction. The W series can till approximately 7" deep and has adjustable depth control skids to set the working depth. A heavy flared trailing board can be positioned to smooth out the soil, or raised out of work to allow soil to flow through and give a rough, cloddy finish.

Maschio
Model EL rotary tillers are designed primarily for offset
applications such as cultivation in a vineyard, orchard,
or nursery. The EL model is structurally the same
as the AL model, but features a moveable hitch assembly
that allows the tiller to be positioned well to the right
of the tractor centerline.

Model EL tiller

Maschio
H rotary tillers are commercial grade machines for a
wide variety of applications. The H features 6
blades per flange on a heavy wall rotor tube for tough
digging conditions. This is a central mount machine
for Category 1 and 2 three point hitch tractors.
A stout #100 grade roller chain provides a smooth transfer of power from gearbox to rotor. All gears, sprockets, and shafts are splined and machined to exact tolerances. We fit friction disc clutches on all of our Maschio tillers to protect the tiller and tractor should you hit an obstruction.

Maschio
Model U rotary tillers offer the best value and performance
in the 80 horspeower category. They feature a
gear side drive for smooth power transmission, a solid
top mast, and double support tube hull construction.
The U is available with a single speed gearbox that
produces a rotor speed of 213 rpm, or an optional 4
speed gearbox with rotor speeds of 178, 201, 227, and
256 rpm.

There
is no other way to say it, the Model B is a beautiful
tiller. All gear side drive, double hull construction,
solid top mast, and a horsepower rating to 100 pto horsepower
make this a tough and versatile machine.

The
model C is a true workhorse for larger farms or commercial
applications. We stock the C in two wide widths
that will cover a lot of ground in a hurry.
The C features an all gear side drive and a four speed
gearbox.
Having different rotor speeds allows you to match the tiller to the tractor and the ground conditions. If you are a little shy on tractor horsepower, simply slow the rotor down to reduce the horsepower requirement of the tiller. If you have ideal ground conditions, speed the rotor up and shift into a higher gear for maximum production at a faster ground speed.
The drive line is protected by a friction disc slip clutch, there are six blades per flange, and the standard depth skids control the tilling depth up to 8".
Optional equipment: front depth control wheels; crumble roller or packer roller kit; double flange kit for stony conditions.

Maschio
Model SC tillers are rated up to 170 horspeower.
Mimimum power requirements are approximately 1 horsepower
per inch of width, so a 90" wide machine would take
90 horsepower to run effectively. Horsepower
requirements can vary greatly with soil conditions,
application, and tractor forward speed so this should
be used as a guideline only.
The SC is a durable gear side drive machine, with a strong frame and topmast. The rotor has thick walled flanges, and can be equipped with an optional double-flange kit for stony conditions. The machine is designed around a 1,000 rpm gearbox that provides four different rotor speeds with a simple gear change system. The gearbox can be run at 540 rpm, but this gives only two usable rotor speeds.
Working depth is 11" maximum in ideal conditions. Most operations will not achieve this depth on a first pass, particularly in heavy sod or other residue. Optional equipment includes the double flange kit, front wheel depth control, and bar-type rollers or packer rollers for depth control and soil firming.

The
Model G Maschio rotary tiller is designed for the
toughest of applications. This machine has many
uses in the industrial arena - soil stabilization,
top soil production, land clearing, and general site
work. It requires a big tractor to operate,
and can handle a tractor up to 250 horsepower.
Tillage depth is rated to 12", and the blades are
secured with a double flange kit for extra strength.
A useful option is a radiator style oil cooler which is recommended if the machine is going to be operating for extended periods of time in hot conditions. The truss design of the frame adds extra strength where it is needed most. Equipped to fit Category II or Category III tractor hitches.
